On Monday, the tribunal was told phone records and information recovered from phones recorded Ms Wandelt repeatedly requesting Madeleine's mother for a genetic test over 2023 and 2024.

Madeleine's case in 2007 - at the age of three during a vacation in Portugal - is among the most covered missing child cases and continues to be unresolved.

'I Don't Want Money'

A separate phone message, shared in court, recorded Ms Wandelt declaring: "I understand I'm heavy and plain like Madeleine had been, but I feel what I feel."

While one recording of Ms Wandelt's one-way conversations with Mrs McCann's recording stated: "What if there is a tiny probability that I'm her? What then? Is that not crucial for you?"

"I don't want money, I possess a existence here in Poland, I simply desire to understand," she added.

The jury was advised that via emails, mobile messages and phone calls, Ms Wandelt requested a genetic test, forwarded childhood photos to her phone in a effort to show a likeness to Mrs McCann's disappeared daughter, and stated to have "recollections" from a childhood with the McCanns.

The investigator, an intelligence analyst with Leicestershire Police who compiled the evidence, told the court there "showed no any answers" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt also reached out to family friends of the McCanns, as per the phone records.

On 9 October 2024, Mr McCann picked up a communication from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, stating she had "a wrong number."

During that incident Ms Wandelt left a voicemail on Mrs McCann's recording saying "I will continue and I intend to demonstrate my claim."

The court was informed the co-defendant established a relationship via internet with Ms Wandelt prior to joining her on a visit to the McCanns' property in the county in last December.

Phone records showed Mrs Spragg had contacted through communication app to Mrs McCann to state the news outlets had portrayed Ms Wandelt as "a crazy person" but that she should be considered genuine in the months leading up to the appearance to the village, the county, in December 2024.

The court was told message exchanges between the two individuals, in last November, considering endeavoring to get Mrs McCann's DNA samples from her bins or from cutlery at a eating establishment.

"We have to make a stand," the co-defendant advised Ms Wandelt.

On the occasion of the visit to their residence, Mrs Spragg dispatched a message which said: "We find ourselves sitting near the McCanns' residence with our lights out similar to detectives. I wanted to achieve this with another person I never thought I would be involved in this with the McCanns."

The case ongoing.
