The Prince of Wales Will Participate in UN Climate Conference in South America
The Prince of Wales plans to participate in the COP30 climate summit in South America in the coming weeks, as announced by royal officials.
The father and son duo appeared together on Thursday evening at a event leading up to the climate summit, which is set to be held in the Amazonian city of Belém.
The King and Prince were in attendance at the Natural History Museum reception, marking an unusual joint appearance at a environmental conference preliminary meeting organized in partnership with the UK government.
Environmental Advocacy Commitment
The King has been a longstanding advocate of environmental conservation - and the Prince of Wales has taken on the baton, with his own climate innovation awards, which will be taking place in South America ahead of the UN meeting.
Official representatives have described Prince William's attendance at the next COP as taking on an crucial position in "climate diplomacy".

The King and Prince of Wales, arriving together in the state Bentley, were greeted guests including environmentalists, scientists, climate change campaigners, diplomats and politicians.
